The Story that shaped Seed and Soar
The name Seed & Soar is connected to my own story, but it is ultimately about the kind of space I hope to create for others.
For much of my life, I learned how to be strong, keep going, and hold things together. That strength helped me survive difficult seasons, but over time I began to realize that simply pushing through is not the same thing as truly growing.
Growth often requires something different. It requires space to pause, to be honest, to be seen, and to ask deeper questions about what is happening beneath the surface. It requires the courage to look at what has shaped us, while also asking what kind of life we want to move toward.
One sentence that stayed with me was something a therapist once said: “Tears need to be witnessed.” At the time, it helped me understand something I had needed for a long time: not someone to fix me, rush me, or tell me to move on, but a safe place to land and be honest about the process I was in.
There were also songs that found me in that season. Blackbird by The Beatles was one of them. Its image of learning to fly gave language to something I was beginning to believe: that the places in me that felt weary or held back did not have to define the rest of my story.
That experience became part of what eventually drew me to life coaching.
Therapy helped me process important parts of my past. Coaching helped me begin to look forward with more clarity, purpose, and intention. It gave me space to ask: What now? What matters? What needs to change? What kind of life am I being invited to build?
That is part of why Seed & Soar matters to me. It holds together two movements I believe are essential: tending what is beneath the surface and finding the courage to move forward. We need space to grow honestly, but we also need courage to take action. We need to understand what has shaped us, but we are not meant to stay stuck there.
This is the heart behind my coaching work. I want to create a space where people can come as they are — whether they feel messy, uncertain, overwhelmed, hopeful, or ready for change — and begin to discern what their next step could be.
Seed & Soar exists for people who sense that their starting place does not have to be their ending place. It is for those who are ready to grow with intention, rise with courage, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they truly are.
